Backgrounds and Fishes
I am experimenting with background images. Really, I just need to create a post here so I have two vertically adjacent links on the calendar. (Damn calendar, pain in my ass.)
Also, I like to say "fishes".

Too much by far...
When the options are infinite, there are quite a lot of options. I have been at this for a really long time and come up with two nearly identical layouts. What do you do when anything is possible? I have no idea what I want. Someone with some sense of design asthetic needs to step in here. I am going to bed.

Ramble on...
It occurs to me there is a stylistic question that needs to be answered here... well, ultimately there are a shitload, but here is this one. What should be the reasonable upper limit for the length of text in this space? How long is too long before considerations of browseability dictate that it be rolled over to "extended entry"? Huh?
